The night before the night before Christmas

It was the night before the night before Christmas... and in the bathtub swam two large fish. Our Christmas lunch. Forget turkey, ham or (in my family) roast chicken. In the Czech Republic the traditional meal is carp, with potato salad!

Petr mluvel jestli neni kapr, neni Vanoce. Petr (the father of the family I am staying with) if there is no carp, there is no Christmas.

Have a great Christmas, and remember that Christmas is a party celebrating Jesus, the Son of God coming in flesh to save us.
