Last Weekend before Christmas

Last Friday we had a power cut in Besednice (apparently no one else had one). With nothing else to do the family and I sang Christmas Carols to each other by candle light. I did most of the singing with a few renditions from Vasek and Johanka.

On Sunday the family was invited to a Christmas presentation at the nearest Evangelical church in Kaplice. Vasek's teacher is an evangelical Christian and had put together a nativity play that the families were invited to. They also had a quartet singing group (very good), some readings and another play. From that they invited people to services and events coming up in the church.
