In Czech Republic

I am trully now James in the Czech Republic. I arrived on Sturday evening by train then went to Besednice to stay with the Czech Family. They are very friendly and have taught me some new words, including buchta (jam filled buns). I will be living with this family for the next three months and travelling to Ceske Budejovice for Czech lessons. Looking forward to it.

Went to Roman Catholic mass with the family on Sunday. I think I understood about three words from the service: Amen, Christo and Mary. Lots to learn!

Hi James
well it sure is quiet here at the center now!!
Glad to hear that you made it OK and that youve had your first 'cultural experience@ nothing like a good Catholic Mass to get you into the swing of things!!
Have fun in language class

Blessings
Jill,
