Besednice and my home

I am living in Besednice as I have already told you. Here is a couple of pictures of the house from up the road and in the compound. It looks a little rough, but it actually is very nice inside.

Besednice is a village of about 800 people in the hills south of Ceske Budejovice. Today they are having a village fair with a couple of concerts. Unfortunately I missing most of it as I am saying goodbye to Steve (a Kiwi) and Varya (a Scot) Brandon (leaving OM Czech Republic to return home to Scotland). However I will get to go to the concert tonight of Czech national folk music. Should be great! This morning I heard the village mayor playing music on the tannoy/loudspeaker and announcing the village fair. I think the tannoy/loudspeaker is a hang over from communist times, but I'm guessing.
