St Nicholas in the Czech republic
On Monday we had a visit from St Nicholas and his demon companions. St Nicholas asked the children if they had been good and the demons tried to scare the children. Most of the children in my Czech family were not worried at all, but Johanka was petrified and had to be consoled by her mother.

Is this a Czech custom? St Nicholas usually only scoffs the mince pies here. . .
