Meeting the neighbours

Last weekend I (James) borrowed the the neighbours power drill. When I returned it the husband of the couple invited me in to have a brief chat. He then offered me a drink and invited Almut to join us. We were then joined by his wife.

It was actually quite fun talking with them. They both speak English (she, a littl,e and he, quite well). One thing we ended up talking about is whether we should address each other using the formal or informal forms of address.
