And back with Alma to the Czech Republic

Well I have survived driving all the way to Germany and back on the right hand side of the road. Alma is now safely with my Czech family in Besednice.

A few of the events along the way...

Almut's parents met us in Mosbach before we left. I asked Almut's father if I could marry Almut. He said yes. Well I think he did; he only speaks German. Almut had to translate between her father and me! Actually it was a really good conversation...

We filled up with petrol once we got back to the Czech Republic. I first filled up with 1000 Czech Crowns. Well at least I thought I had. The woman at the check out looked slightly puzzled at me. I had actually only filled up with 100 Czech Crowns. So we decided to fill up some more. I sent Almut to the check out to pay (since I was too embarrased to pay again) and told her to say that we were paying for the dvanáct (12) petrol pump. Silly me. Apparently the woman at the check out once again looked puzzled. There were no cars at the number 12 pump. We were at the devět (9) pump. She must have thought we were a bunch of absolute plonkers!
