Meeting people on the train

Met two sets of people on the train on the way back.

Met an Australian couple. The boyfriend produces drugs for vets and girlfriend is an accounts clerk. She was quite interesting because she is going to Budapest to meet the Hungarian side of her family (her father was from Hungary). She apparently hasn't spoken Hungarian since she was 11 (I think her father died then). It was actually quite sad to hear that she doesn't get on with her mother or her only other sibling.

The other person I met was Marianne, one of my team mates from OM Czech Republic. It was completely random that she should get on the same train as me. She has been at a conference in the Netherlands and I didn't know when or how she was coming back. The fact that she got on my carriage at all was also very random (there are about 6 or 7 I think). Very nice to see her though.
