Good Friday service

Went to the Good Friday service in Velešin. The service included a sung rendition of the Gospel reading (not sure which one). Could recognise a few phrases, Pilate's "What is truth?" and Peter's denials of Jesus.

Towards the end of the service the priest uncovered and held up a crucifix with the image of Jesus on it. All the congregation went up and bowed before it. I didn't think it was appropriate to bow to an image of Jesus, as I think that is tantamount to worshipping an graven image.
