When I got back from my trip to Vodnany I was quite tired from concentrating about where I was going. I didn't really listen to my colleague, Janet, what she was telling me over lunch. I asked her to repeat. She said that Petr had died. I was seriously confused. Who was she talking about?

She clarified that her Czech language teacher had died last night. He was a lawyer who had been paralysed and bed ridden for about 10 years. One of the related health issues that he had were lung infections. Apparently he was feeling unwell with this last night, but didn't want to go to the hospital. During the night he died.
