End of year party for English Language classes
We had our End of year party for English language classes. I have previously met some of the students, but it was a good opportunity to meet the others. We had a packed programme: Doreen, our departing English language teacher, gave out attendance certificates. We had a song from the advanced class (She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes...). We played a silly game - Oxford and Cambridge boat race with coins. We saw a video from the last years English language camp - a modern Czech version of the parable of the Samaritan. We said goodbye to Doreen (lots of hugs from Doreen to her students) and had some food and drink at the end. I also said some words in Czech and English about what will be happening next year. Most of what I said was OK, but apparently I was saying last year we will be starting, instead of next year we will be starting.
