In Hungary and Sunglasses

I am now in Hungary for a four week Missionary Training School. We (about twelve of us, two married couples, me and the rest single women) got to the airport in Amsterdam very early and were waiting around for ages. When we finally got onto the plane we had to wait for two passengers who were so late that the baggage handlers took their luggage off. Consequently we got to Hungary late and quite tired. I'm now in Erd, a small city near Budapest. We are going to have a look around Budapest next weekend. This weekend we are justing taking it slow!

Yesterday I was looking for my very nice sunglasses and starting to panic that I couldn't find them. Prayed and asked that they would turn up. I had packed all my luggage up to leave and didn't want to unpack (a huge hassle and I was running out of time). At the same time I could have left them anywhere in the conference centre in the Netherlands. Got the strong impression that I should look down the side of the bottom bunk. Ignored that and kept on looking elsewhere. Got the impression again, "Look down the side of the bunk". Looked around a bit more then actually looked down the side of the bed under someone else's sleeping bag. There they were. Thank you God for caring for me!

Mr Durban,

Remember the wise words of the Maxi Priest song on your travels.

"Ooh baby baby it's a wild world".

Have fun over there. Make sure that any Czechs you come into contact with don't bounce.

Ben
