God saves

I have already recounted how God protected some of us today. Here is another couple of incidents.

Micah went to Vienna for the day to see friends. She arrived back very late in Budapest, got on a bus to Erd, but the wrong one. When she got to Erd she didn't know how to get home and couldn't find a phone to call us. She managed to wave down a bus that had finished its routes for the night and tried to ask how she could get back. Well Micah doesn't speak Hungarian. She showed the bus driver the bus stop that she needed to get to, but the bus driver didn't speak English. He tried explaining how to get there, but gave up and just drove her to the bus stop where two of us (myself and Almut) had been waiting for almost an hour. Micah is very thankful that God got her back home!

Victoria had been waiting up to answer the phone if Micah called, but fell asleep. Her book fell onto the lamp by her bed and was very slowly burning through. Almut walked into a very smoky room, saw what was happening, quickly moved the book and woke Victoria up. Victoria is extremely grateful that God protected her from real harm. See below for the offending article!

Thanks God for protecting us today!
